On Me - How The Elite In London Told Us To Eat Cake: And No, It Was Not An April’s Fool Joke Though We Are Indeed The Fools

So the demonstrations in London have turned ugly: And those who provoked it were the cops. I know this because I have two friends who attended and, like me, they are latte-drinking anarchists with corporate jobs, kids, and yellow-streaks as long as the zeroes in their bank accounts.

But they, like me, are angry. Enraged, outraged, and just seriously pissed-off.

Now I’m an old man and have no interest in revolution but seriously, the time has come for action - bugger this for a joke. It may be April 1st, but the fools - us - are being taken a little too much for granted …

First the banks steal our pensions and our retirements to the tune of countless of billions of dollars in ‘investments’ that were, for all intents and purposes, no better than pissing money into a back-alley crapshoot (but with shorter odds) before they then took our money - our tax money that ought to have been invested in our kids’education, inĀ  hospitals, police, transport, civic structures, not to mention infrastructure - they then steal that money to replenish the money they pissed away without a worry in the world in order to pay back the very banks and their rich clients who created this meltdown, and then, just to really piss me off, they convene in London to work out better ways of stealing my money - all on my expense, mind you - and when people dare to protest, the police start cracking heads - this, the very police force whose salaries I pay for!

Did I say I am pissed off? This is the greatest theft in the history of mankind, a redistribution of wealth from the poor to the rich to reimburse them after they went to Vegas with all my money and lost every single cent before taking out a loan for more than they could ever pay back in a million years, and losing that too, and then, BINGO, they got it all back at the door with nothing more than a promise that really, next time, they’ll be more careful. Seriously: Not one banker in jail, not one bank audited, not one … not one … after the greatest terrorist act in the history of the planet, 30 odd men walked away with billions having plundered the world economy of trillions of dollars, and not one, not one single one is even being investigated …

So let’s see here:

- The banks took my money and burnt through it like crack-whores on Easy Street

- The politicians - who I pay, my bloody employees - took my kid’s money, and burnt through that by rewarding the very bankers who lost all my money by defrauding me (Triple A ratings on absolute shit - Triple A!)

- The politicians then treat themselves to a week-long orgy of excess in London where they show off the latest in haute couture, and dinner that went for 1,000 dollars a plate, thanks very much, every single cent on me, prepared by a celebrity chef, on me, and wine at 500 dollars a bottle, on me - all of it, every bloody thing on me

- The bankrupt banks then pay themselves billion-dollar bonuses - on me, since I now own their rubbish companies, having been forced to buy their ‘toxic’ debt at a discount rate (how come Buffett got preferential stock when he bought shares in Goldman’s - 123 million worth - and when my tax money bought shares in CitiBank - to the tune of 45 BILLION - I get shafted in the butt with some deal I’d expect to get if I’d opened a savings account with 5 dollars - wtf is that about?!) with the promise that some day my ‘investment’ will bare fruit as if, you know, in the year 2050 when ShitiBank makes a profit my daughter will get a check courtesy of Uncle Sam (does anyone even believe this rubbish?!) - yeah, I’m holding my breath over here

- And then, when I protest, they turn the cops - whose salaries I pay - on me.

Enough of this. Enough. Like Churchill said, a young man who is not liberal has no heart, a middle-aged man who is not conservative has no money, but I swear if anyone wants to organise a bloody revolution, just give me a call, because these bastards need to be given the smackdown out of principle: If they get away with this, I tell you now, they will bleed us for everything we have.

We pay for the banks to lose our money, we pay for the leaders to pay the banks, we pay for our leaders to indugle themselves with our money, we pay and pay and pay for this pig-fest, this orgy of greed, we pay to keep these bastards in Cristal, toasting queens and flying solo around the world in Boeings while we sit here and wonder whether we’ll have a job in a month because our entire business was raided and our economies - our work - was stolen from us, my investments used to pay billion-dollar bonuses, my money used to fund their party, to fund these animals who treated my money, my investments, my work, as if they were entitled to it, as if they were born to it by God’s own plan, and now, having lost that, they act as if they are entitled to my child’s future, entitled to their dolce vita - on me - entitled to take from me what is not theirs to take.

And then I pay for the police to beat the crap out of me when I get angry?

No more. It is time, I think, for us - the suckers - to find a voice and, failing that, find some bricks. This must stop, and like any abuser, like any bully, the only way we stop them is to meet them, face to face, eye to eye, and make sure they come away understanding that we will no longer take this.

If we do not, then we might as well as all sell our kids into indentured servitude because these people will take - everything - from us. Everything left to take: Already they have taken our security, our economy, our freedom to travel, already they have taken our right to congregate, our right to protest - and they will not stop, these bastards, they will not stop until they have taken everything that belongs to us. We built the highways - they nationalised them, and then they sold them to their friends, who now charge us to use it. They took our water - given to us by God Himself - and sold it back to us at a price. They took our land, the land on which we were born, and force us to pay rent to exist on it - as if, you know, we actually had a choice! They take our tax money - and use that to pay bonuses to bankers who lost billions of our money - they take our tax money and allow our schools to rot, our hospitals to close, our roads to collapse, they take, and they take, and they take - and when we actually protest, they actually take away our very lives.

Stimulus? More like an incubus: These people are eating our souls. They are raping us, and now I see one protestor has died - actually died. I can imagine someone must be angry - Obama no doubt telling Gordon, ‘Damn, there goes a source of revenue - can you tell the cops to keep them alive, just beat them, no killing, or else where are we gonna find the money to pay AIG?’.

Enough.

I am an old man, and I have a comfortable life, and many of my friends work on Wall Street and in the City but even they are disgusted by this: This is not about the bankers, the mid-level execs, this is about the elite swanning about acting as if we actually owe them their privilige - these people are atually unable to comprehend that they went bust, that they lost is all, they cannot actually comprehend that we don’t actually owe them their lifestyles, their dolce vita at the cost of our future, and our kids’ futures.

These people must be taken down - not because there is a better alternative, but because we need to teach these ‘people’ a lesson, once and for all. I for one am no longer prepared to sponsor the lifestyles of the bankrupt by bankrupting my child’s future. No more, it is time to end this toxic farce.

Paying my taxes on April 15th is my civic duty: Supporting the bankrupt to the lifestyle to which they have become accustomed - to the lifestyle which they clearly believe is their right - is most assuredly not. Unless, that is, it is to fund the prison cells in which they belong.
